Hi! I'm Alexandra, a biology undergraduate, focusing on ecology, with a passion for science and nature. I split my time between university in York and home near Lincoln in Lincolnshire.
I have been interested in the wildlife around me for as long as I can remember, ever since an early career as a 'conservationist' rearing woodlice in the back garden (although I think they'd have been just as happy without my help). I am endlessly fascinated by the evolution and ecology behind the things we see every day, and love exploring the natural world.
I hope that this blog will be somewhere where I can share my enthusiasm for nature, wildlife and ecology, as well as working on science/nature writing and photography.
